Our project involved the design of an office space for a private investment firm based in Neo Psychiko. From the outset, our intent was to craft an environment that fosters collaboration, comfort, and wellbeing — a refined yet approachable workspace that reflects both professionalism and warmth.
The spatial organization was conceived to accommodate a small, cohesive team accustomed to collaboration within an open-plan setting. Distinct functional zones articulate the programmatic needs of the office, while a strong sense of continuity and spatial flow ensures a unified composition. This coherent layout enhances circulation and visual connectivity, allowing for smooth transitions between degrees of privacy and activity. In line with the client’s vision, the sequence of spaces unfolds gradually — from the more public meeting room to the quieter work areas — establishing a balanced relationship between openness and focus.
At the core of the plan, the lounge operates as the social and spatial heart of the office. Designed as a point of convergence, it embodies hospitality and ease, offering an atmosphere distinct from conventional workplace typologies. This central element accommodates both informal team interactions and client meetings within an environment that is simultaneously elegant and relaxed.
Soft, curved geometries and arched pathways reinforce the sense of flow and spatial harmony. These gestures soften boundaries, guide movement intuitively, and introduce a sculptural dimension that contributes to a calm, human-centered environment. The interplay of curvature and continuity mitigates visual rigidity, promoting a more organic and restorative spatial experience.
Materiality plays a fundamental role in shaping the atmosphere. The use of wooden flooring imparts domestic warmth and tactile comfort, while sound-absorbing materials — carpet and felt — provide acoustic balance within zones of higher activity, enhancing focus and psychological wellbeing.
